Privacy Policy

Subpli helps you track subscriptions and payment reminders. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
  • Account (optional): If you sign in, we collect basic sign-in details (name, email, credentials/tokens). Guest use keeps only a device/session identifier.
  • Social sign-in (optional): If you use Google or Apple, we receive your name/email and authentication tokens from that provider so you can sign in.
  • App content you provide: Subscription info you add and optional icons/images you upload. This is used to show your subscriptions, reminders, and stats back to you. We do not collect bank account or card numbers; only the amounts and details you enter for tracking.
  • Preferences: Language, currency, and reminder settings you configure.
  • Notifications (optional): Device token if you enable push notifications.
  • Diagnostics: Device/app/version identifiers, heartbeats, limited analytics, and crash reports to keep the app reliable.
  • Support: What you send when you contact support.
  • We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. Analytics and diagnostics are used in aggregate to keep the service reliable.
How We Use Information
  • Run your account or guest session and keep you signed in.
  • Sync and show your subscriptions, reminders, and stats (including any icons you attach) only for your account.
  • Send reminders (only if notifications are allowed).
  • Keep the app reliable and secure via heartbeats, analytics, and crash reporting.
  • Respond when you contact support.
Sharing and Disclosures
  • Service providers: Your data is processed by our backend services.
  • Authentication providers: Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple process your sign-in and may receive basic device/network data needed for authentication.
  • Firebase services: Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging process usage, crash, and notification data.
  • Microsoft Clarity: Clarity processes usage and interaction data to help us understand app usage and improve the app.
  • RevenueCat: RevenueCat processes subscription, purchase, and entitlement status data to help manage in-app subscriptions and purchases.
  • File storage/CDN: Uploaded subscription icons may be stored and delivered by our file storage providers.
  • We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising. We disclose information only as required by law, to protect rights and safety, or with your consent. Analytics and diagnostics are used in aggregate to keep the service reliable.
Data Storage and Retention
  • Authentication tokens are stored locally using secure storage; preferences and cached dashboard data are stored on your device.
  • Subscription records, preferences, and support requests are stored on our servers until you delete them or delete your account.
  • Accounts (guest or registered) and their data may be deleted after 2 years of inactivity.
  • Some aggregated analytics or crash data may be retained for service reliability even after account deletion, but it is not linked back to you.
  • Push tokens may be removed when you log out or unregister notifications.
  • Backups and logs are retained for a limited time for security and continuity.
Your Choices and Rights
  • Account and data control: You can update your profile, change language/currency, manage reminders, or delete your account from the app.
  • Notifications: Enable or disable push notifications in system settings; reminders require notification permission.
  • Data requests: Use the in-app support/contact form if you need help exercising privacy rights or have questions.
Permissions Used
  • Notifications: To send reminders and updates (optional).
  • Photos/Media/Files: Only when you choose to upload a custom subscription icon or use the optional photo/file import feature; the app does not access your library otherwise.
  • Network: To communicate with our servers and Firebase services.
AI-Assisted Photo and File Import
  • If you choose to use the optional “import from photo/file” feature, the selected photo or file is uploaded and processed to extract possible subscription details for your review.
  • To perform this feature, the uploaded file may be sent to our backend and to third-party AI service providers acting on our behalf for analysis.
  • The mobile app itself does not permanently store the original uploaded photo or file after submission. Uploaded files may be retained only for as long as reasonably needed to complete the import process, maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the feature.
  • Import results are generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should review and confirm all detected subscription details before saving them.
  • Please avoid uploading sensitive or unnecessary personal data. For example, do not upload files that include bank account numbers, card numbers, government identifiers, passwords, or unrelated personal records unless strictly necessary for the import you want to perform.
Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Sensitive credentials are stored using platform secure storage where available. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

International Transfers

Data may be processed on servers located outside your country. We use contractual and technical safeguards where applicable.

Children’s Privacy

Subpli is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). Do not use the service if you do not meet the minimum age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect product or legal changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, when material changes occur, notify you in-app or through another appropriate channel.
